Taieri Swim Club currently operates at Taieri College pool, Mosgiel. 

Our lessons and squads run from September to the end of March. 

We cater for learn to swim, through to competitive squads, for children age 5 years and up. 

Membership is limited by pool space and availability of coaches.  A waiting list is operated.    Currently the club has approximately 100 swimmers.  15% of our members are registered competitive swimmers. 

Our Junior Groups are taught by our qualified volunteer coaches whom we appreciate donating their time and their skill to help swimmers on the Taieri.

Club Swimmers: Club sessions on Wednesday evening and Saturday morning for learn to swim to length swimming. Groups of up to 6 swimmers Operates Term 1 and 4.

Squad Swimmers & Development Group: Training group for those that may be interested in competitive swimming.  Limited numbers.  Operates on Monday & Tuesday evening and Saturday morning, Terms 1 and 4.

  Taieri Swimming Club Uniform - with the new community pool coming soon the club is undergoing a rebrand with an exciting new logo.
At that stage we hope to be able to offer you a new look Taieri uniform

The following uniform is available for all swimmers. 

We value your support in promoting our swimming club identity and know that you will feel proud wearing the uniform.

 
We encourage every swimmer to wear a cap as it improves streamlining & keeps long hair off the face.

 
Hoodies have Taieri Swim Club embroidered on the front & swimmer name can be printed on the back for an extra cost.

 
Singlets have Taieri Swim Club printed on the front.

 
Swimming togs are also available for both boys & girls with the Taieri Swim Club logo. The togs can also have the swimmers name printed on them.

 
We do have a small number of items in stock so please do ask if you are interested.

A committee member will be at Club sessions on Saturday 10th & Wednesday 14th October to take orders for these items. Payment must be made at time of ordering.

Squad - Competitive Swimmer: $216.50

Squad - Club Swimmer: $210.00

Squad - Learn to swim Swimmer: $150.00

Junior Groups - Club swimmer: $160.00

Junior Groups - Learn to swim swimmer: $100.00

Membership types

Learn to swim Swimmer: Can only participate in Club events

Club Swimmer: These are all swimmers in the Junior Groups & Squad swimmers who can enter the Inter-club & regional meets.

However due to changes from July1 they will also be able to enter Regional championships held in Otago - providing they have obtained qualification times .

Competitive Swimmer: These swimmers are usually in the Squad & can compete at Inter-club meets & any Regional or National meets they qualify for.

Inter-club meets include: Zenith Sprint Meet, Kiwi Challenge Meet, Cromwell Spring Carnival, Alexandra Waitangi Meet, Taieri Carnival.

Regional meets include: Otago Winter Champs, Otago LC Champs, SI Country & Town Competition, Otago Country Club Champs.
